Firm Overview

If you do not know whether or not you should file for bankruptcy, Attorney Andrew M. Gross in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, can certainly help. I am an established personal bankruptcy lawyer who can provide you with sound legal advice, and the unmatched personal attention you deserve. Where many other Pittsburgh bankruptcy attorneys are motivated only to acquire as many bankruptcy cases as possible, my goal is to alleviate your fear and apprehension prior to a bankruptcy filing, and personally put you on the road to financial recovery

Let me help you decide if bankruptcy is right for you.

I am proud of the fact that I have helped people of all types resolve serious debt situations. I am a dedicated bankruptcy lawyer with over thirteen years of experience helping people overwhelmed by debt due to medical expenses, job loss, divorce, credit card bills, and more. One thing I have learned is that every client and every case is different, and therefore I spend extra time getting to know clients and their circumstances. Unlike other bankruptcy lawyers, I personally interview every client, prepare all paperwork, and appear with that person at any required bankruptcy proceeding, such as the meeting of creditors.

Bankruptcy Can Be a Good Thing

Contrary to popular perception, bankruptcy is not an end or even an unfortunate circumstance, necessarily. Rather, it is a protection that allows for continuity and more importantly, new beginning. While the bankruptcy laws changed on October 17, 2005, it is still possible to file. The new laws have imposed a few new requirements, but generally, if you qualified to file under the old law, you will qualify to file under the new law.

Since becoming a bankruptcy attorney, I have observed that increasing numbers of Americans are living by the paycheck, with no financial cushion for emergencies, overwhelming debt, and no ability to meet all their financial obligations. Oftentimes a single crisis, such as an emergency medical procedure, can have devastating financial consequences. I have protected scores of people from ultimately losing homes, automobiles, and personal property by taking my clients into either Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. What to expect?

If you have concerns relating to bankruptcy, contact me today to schedule a FREE initial consultation. Telephone consultations are also available.
