Filing for Bankruptcy is Still Possible Under the New Laws That Went Into Effect on October 17, 2005.

The bankruptcy laws that went into effect on October 17, 2005 impose more requirements on a person who wishes to file for bankruptcy such as taking an approved credit counseling class before filing and going through a means test to determine whether you qualify for Chapter 7. Generally, if your household income is less than the state median income for a household of your size, you will qualify for file for Chapter 7. With my careful guidance, I can help you obtain the relief that you are entitled to under the Bankruptcy Code.
